Some of our most memorable moments were spent sitting down to a meal with a wonderful view of the city stretched out before us. The sea shimmered in the distance, and the stars twinkled at night. It was incredibly special and breathtaking.
During our one week trip with the kids to Barcelona, we are a lot. It is no laughing matter. Between finding the best beachfront restaurants in Barcelona and the restaurants with the best view, I think we ate all the food.

10 Best Barcelona Restaurants with a View

Mood Rooftop Bar

Location: Carrer de Provença, 277, L'Eixample
Perched on the 9th floor of The One Barcelona in Eixample, this restaurant immediately greets you with its sleek, contemporary design and an inviting pool deck. The city noise softened, replaced by ambient music and a gentle breeze as we stepped into the sunlit terrace.
Nearly every table has a panoramic view of the La Sagrada Familia, Montjuïc, and the Mediterranean.
We timed our dinner just before sunset, catching how the magical sky turned from vibrant yellows and oranges to reds and purples.
We got the grilled octopus, which we were told was a crowd favorite, and the tuna tartar for starters. For our main course, we got some assorted skewers and grilled seafood.
Terrat

Location: Passeig de Gràcia, 38-40, L'Eixample
Terrat offers 360° a panoramic view in Barcelona. It's located on the rooftops of the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona.
It has stylish lounge zones and a chic terrace with ambient lighting, perfect for both romantic dates and celebratory night outs.
The restaurant leans heavily into Peruvian‑Mediterranean-Japanese tapas, such as ceviches, baos, croquetas, jaleas, tataki, and pulpo. We started with a spread of rice and duck croquetas, prawn ocopa rolls, and the classic ceviche. On a whim, we tried the Bao Chalaco, which are little buns stuffed with fish, creamy rocoto mayo, and pickles
Portion sizes are small, so if you're looking for a heavy meal, this place is not the one for you. It was also a bit pricey. But it's definitely worth trying if you’re willing to pay for the ambiance and the inventive menu.
Moments

Located: Passeig de Gràcia, 38-40, L'Eixample
Also located within the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Moments holds two Michelin stars, helmed by Catalan culinary icon Carme Ruscalleda and her son Raül Balam.
We tried the full tasting menu and wine pairing. The menu changes every season, and when we went here, it currently had a 10-14 course of Catalan traditional dishes.
The food was so-so and significantly expensive compared to other restaurants we tried.
But the wine menu?
It's arguably the best! We tried the iconic wine pairing specifically and it was perfect. The sommelier definitely knew what he was doing serving these!
The Rooftop at Serras

Location: Passeig de Colom, 9 (7-minute walk from Gothic Quarter)
On the sixth floor of the elegant 5-star Hotel The Serras, you find a beautiful rooftop restaurant & bar, with a nice view over the Marina Port Vell and the beach in Barceloneta. We sat near the rooftop pool, which was definitely the best seat in the house.
We tried some paella and tapas, and although it wasn't the best tapas in the city of Barcelona, we walked away from the restaurant fully satisfied.
Fair warning! It's not a place for kids since the tapas counters were rather loud and bustling.
The best part was the cocktail bar, as it served a creatively curated selection of signature cocktails. Don't miss out on the White Negroni, trust me!
Port Vela

Located at the quieter end of the marina beneath the iconic W Barcelona Hotel, Port Vela is a hidden gem with a great view of Marina Vela. We reserved early so we could get a terrace seating (not a rooftop terrace, just harbor-level).
The restaurant excels at grilled fish and other seafood dishes. We tried the classic paella marinera, and the serving was huge!
It was a bit salty, unfortunately. Their patatas bravas and Iberian meat were also slightly underwhelming.
I ordered a glass of wine, specifically their homemade-style Vermut, which is their highlight, and it did not disappoint.
La Terraza del Claris

Want to save this?
Located: Carrer de Pau Claris, 150, L'Eixample
If you’re in Eixample and want to combine stellar food with a standout tasting menu, expertly mixed drinks, and a rooftop view that captures Barcelona’s skyline, La Terraza del Claris is an exceptional choice.
It's a rooftop restaurant and bar located atop the Claris Hotel & Spa in Barcelona's Eixample district.
Their menu features innovative Mediterranean cuisine, focusing on fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients. These dishes are led by Michelin-starred Chef Aurelio Morales.
We tried the fresh tuna tartare with avocado and citrus, grilled octopus with romesco sauce, sea bass with seasonal vegetables, and finally some olive oil cake with citrus sorbet for dessert. This was overall a great experience for us!
Bar Mut

Location: Carrer de Pau Claris, 192, L'Eixample
We tried Bar Mut, a beloved tapas bar tucked into the Eixample neighborhood. We let the server guide us through the handwritten menu, which changes based on market availability.
We had the egg carpaccio with prawns and straw-fried potatoes, octopus served on crispy chicken skin, and melt-in-your-mouth solomillo with foie.
The service was quick, with helpful wine pairings and no rush despite the buzz of the evening crowd.
If you're visiting the Sagrada Família and you're looking for a great tapas bar to eat in, we definitely recommend this place.
Amar Barcelona

Location: Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 668, L'Eixample
Located in the Palace Barcelona, what sets Amar apart from the rest is its rooftop garden with 360° unobstructed views stretching across Barcelona, including sights like the Sagrada Família and Montjuïc. The views alone are the best in Barcelona!
The grilled fish of the day, a delicate white fish from the Costa Brava, was the standout for us here. It was simply seasoned and flame-grilled to perfection. The staff were also warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived; they're probably the best in town so far.
11 Nudos Terraza Nordés Barcelona

Location: Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 373, 375, L'Eixample
We dined at 11 Nudos Terraza Nordés on the rooftop of Las Arenas in Eixample, and the experience felt like discovering a coastal escape high above the city.
What really stood out was the wine list, which we found thoughtfully curated.
We sipped a crisp Albariño that paired impeccably with their tapas: grilled avocado with burrata and smoky octopus.
Service-wise, the staff handled a nearly full terrace well, despite the peak evening hours. Personally, we noted a slight delay in the drink service but it's all good!
Restaurant Mirabé

Location: Carrer de Manuel Arnús, 2, Distrito de Sarrià-Sant Gervasi
We visited Restaurant Mirabé, the breathtaking restaurant that sits hillside located at Sant Gervasi district of Barcelona, and our evening felt nothing short of magical. We booked a table by the floor‑to‑ceiling windows and watched Barcelona stretch out below us as the sun dipped.
We had the seafood paella, grilled fish, and foie toast. Our server helped us select a crisp Albariño that tied everything together beautifully. The service was warm and attentive without feeling overbearing.
Pretty solid experience overall!
Azimuth Rooftop Bar

Location: Terraza 8ª Planta, Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 619, 621
Perched on top of the boutique hotel Almanac Barcelona, just a few steps from Plaza Catalunya, was Azimuth. It offered a great view of Mount Tibidabo in clear sight. The ambiance is sophisticated yet relaxed. During our visit, we got to watch a live DJ play some 90s tunes.
Gallito

Location: Passeig del Mare Nostrum, 19, 21, Ciutat Vella
If you want something next to the beach with amazing sea views, Gallito is the best option for you. You can literally see the sand of Barceloneta Beach from a few feet away.
We went here for some light tapas: fish tacos, accompanied by spicy herb oil, radish salad, and cilantro mayonnaise. Alongside the tacos, we also tried the grilled octopus with smoked paprika and lemon, which was tender and smoky. For dessert, the white chocolate brownie paired with milk chocolate ice cream was decadent
Overall, we had a delightful dining experience. The beautiful seaside views made everything infinitely better!
Can Fisher

Location: Avenida del Litoral, 64, Sant Martí
Can Fisher is a seafood restaurant overlooking Bogatell Beach. The menu showcases fresh, local ingredients that are expertly crafted into vibrant, flavorful dishes. We tried a variety of light tapas, starting with grilled calamari drizzled with lemon and olive oil, garlic shrimp, and razor clams.
For anyone looking for authentic seafood dishes in a beautiful beachfront setting, Can Fisher is definitely a must-visit.
